Day 1 : Depart Windhoek for 2 nights, Sossusvlei Wilderness Lodge, Namib Desert Depart Eros Airport by light aircraft to Sossusvlei Wilderness Lodge for two nights. The lodge lies on a 21,000 ha private reserve only 20km from Sesriem. This exclusive camp is built just below the mountain top providing a cool refuge from the spectacular desert scenery below. Each secluded rock and thatch en suite chalet is superbly appointed and offers comfort, atmosphere and private plunge pool. The main lodge has an outdoor deck for dining under the stars. Activities centre round early morning excursions in 4x4 vehicles to the magnificent Sossusvlei dunes. Here you enjoy lavish desert breakfasts under shady acacia trees surrounded by dunes. Afternoon nature trails on the reserve highlight its unique fauna and flora. The star gazing platform and telescope are a popular after-dinner rendezvous with the night skies of the Namib are amongst the clearest on the planet.

Day 2 : On Safari at Sossusvlei Activities include a safari to the heart of Sossusvlei. You rise with the sun to see one of the most exhilarating sights in Namibia - the towering dunes of Sossusvlei, some of the largest in the world, rising more than 1000 feet above the desert. Many of our visitors lose their hearts to Namibia after seeing Sossusvlei. This is paradise for the photographer, as the shadows create a magnificent contrast of colours. Marvel at the gemsbok and other animals that manage to survive in these dry conditions. Afternoon nature trails on the reserve highlight its unique fauna and flora. Hot air ballooning is an optional extra.

Day 3 : 2 nights, Damaraland Mountain Camp, Damaraland Your flight takes you over Namib, Sossusvlei and then due westwards to the Skeleton Coast. The flight up the coast takes you over Sandwich Harbour and its famous lagoon, past Walvis Bay and up to Swakopmund. Here you are met and transferred into town for a tour of the town and a delicious seafood lunch and boat cruise. In the afternoon you depart from Swakopmund for a scenic flight further up the Skeleton Coast before turning east to fly up the Huab River to Damaraland Camp for two nights.
Damaraland Mountain Camp lies in the remote Huab river valley, an area of rugged scenery and endless vistas. The camp integrates the local community, the environment and the wildlife. Highlights include nature walks and 4x4 game drives in search of the rare desert elephant and rhino as well as gemsbok, springbok and other hardy desert animals. Strange plants play host to even stranger insects and your guide brings insight to the questions of survival in this unique environment. Visits to Twyfelfontein and to the local community are also on offer. Comfortable walk-in Meru tents have en-suite facilities (with flush toilets and hot showers) and shaded verandas. The main area comprises a comfortable lounge/dining area and bar, and a unique rock pool at the foot of a waterfall.

Day 4 : On safari in Damaraland Damaraland Mountain Camp lies in the remote Huab river valley, an area of rugged scenery and endless vistas. Highlights of your stay include nature walks and 4x4 game drives in search of the rare and endangered desert elephant and rhino as well as gemsbok, springbok, ostrich and other hardy desert animals. This is an area where the chances of encountering the elephants is very high. Visits to some superb rock engravings and to the local community are also on offer.

Day 5 : 2 nights, Ongava Main Lodge, Adjacent to Etosha National Park Fly by light aircraft to Ongava Main Lodge or Ongava Tented Camp for two nights. Ongava Lodge is situated on the private 30,000 hectare Ongava Game Reserve and shares a common border with Etosha. The luxurious lodge has a magnificent setting, perched on a koppie overlooking an active floodlit waterhole and the African plains below. It offers the full Etosha experience while providing great accommodation and service, as well as the opportunity to take night drives and nature walks on the reserve, activities that are not allowed within Etosha. With its resident white and black rhino, rhino tracking on foot is one of the most popular activities here.
Main Lodge has a sublime setting, perched on a koppie overlooking an active floodlit waterhole and the plains below. 12 air-conditioned thatch and stone chalets are simply furnished, with a spacious bathroom and secluded viewing deck.

Day 6 : On Safari at Ongava Highlights are the game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into Etosha National Park, as well as night drives and walks in their private reserve with its resident White and Black Rhino. Etosha is one of the finest game parks in Southern Africa. It encloses a vast saltpan that becomes an immense, shallow lake in rainy periods, attracting great numbers of flamingos and other water birds. The open plains are home to tens of thousands of animals with large herds of springbok, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, elephant and, of course, the predators - particularly cheetah and lion. The diminutive Damara dik-dik is one of the more rare and delightful animals seen here.

Day 7 : Flight to Windhoek Depart Ongava for the flight back to Windhoek.
